Project Description: Our research focuses on modeling of parathyroid tumorigenesis and the related Hyperparathyroidism-Jaw Tumor syndrome. The student will assist in phenotypic characterization of genetically modified mice including: DNA/RNA extraction, PCR-based genotyping, rotary sectioning of fixed tissue, analyses of changes in RNA and/or protein expression and in vitro assessment of PTH secretory activity.
