Honors students file a Preliminary Plan of Study in their third year or when applying to the program as a rising junior, and they file a Final Plan of Study the semester prior to graduation. Both forms represent an agreement among the student, their Honors advisor(s), and the Honors Program on how the student will meet curricular and co-curricular graduation requirements.
This program is currently accepting Preliminary Plans of Study for students on the "new" requirements for Honors Scholar in the Major and University Honors Laureate (for students who entered UConn in Fall 2018 or later).
Click the Apply button in the upper right to begin your Preliminary Plan of Study.
To successfully complete your Preliminary Plan of Study, you should discuss your plans for completing the Honors Scholar in the Major requirements with your advisor before submitting the form. This includes your Honors coursework in your major and related subjects as well as the Engagement in the Major Field requirement.
If you have any questions about the Preliminary Plan of Study process or encounter issues using the forms, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
