Description

This application is for current or transfer students interested in applying to join the Honors Program at the University of Connecticut for admission as sophomores or juniors.

Minimum Criteria for Honors Admission as a Sophomore:

  • Enrollment as an undergraduate at UConn is required
  • Graduating in 3 years
  • 24 credits/two semesters (taken at UConn or another institution of higher education)
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.40 to apply
  • If transfer student – Cumulative GPA of at least 3.40 at previous institution

Minimum Criteria for Honors Admission as a Junior:

  • Enrollment as an undergraduate at UConn in intended Honors Major is required
  • Graduating in 2 years or less
  • 54 credits/four semesters (taken at UConn or another institution of higher education)
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.40
  • If transfer student – Cumulative GPA of at least 3.40 at previous institution
