The Institute for the Brain and Cognitive Sciences (IBACS) Undergraduate Research Grants provide up to $1,000 in support for undergraduate research projects supervised by faculty affiliates of IBACS. The undergraduate projects may focus on any research area associated with the IBACS mission.
This program does not provide direct financial support to students; it is meant to provide support for the research. IBACS Undergraduate Research Grants are intended to defray the research-related costs such as materials and supplies, software, and animal or participant-related costs associated with a particular project. The final deadline to apply for a Fall 2023/Spring 2024 IBACS Undergraduate Research Grant is February 6, 2024. Note that the academic year applications will now be reviewed on a rolling basis and awards will be made until funds are exhausted, or up until the application deadline.
